Connecting Point Marketing Group, a part of Emerald Expositions, produces executive level business to business trade Events. The purpose of the Events are to build communities by connecting buying executives and suppliers to build relationships and business partnerships around a central theme of innovation. We produce Events that are unique in that they are high touch, personalized and of a format with focused meetings based on mutual interest with a personalized agenda designed to maximize business interaction. We currently have a need for a Manager, Executive Accounts based out of our Rye, NH office.

As Manager, Executive Accounts, you
will be responsible for inviting and confirming our Buying Executive audience for two or three Events annually. You will be responsible for the invitation strategy, recruiting and account management of senior level Buying executive invitees, relationship development and invitee support. You will be the primary contact and direct liaison to our invitees. You will maintain internal reporting to target and monitor invitee and attendee status; reviewing with Management as required. You will manage pre-event individual promotion and participation as well as onsite participation, and work as the conduit to internal team on executive details. You will be expected to develop an understanding of the needs/interests of your Event Communities, and develop relationships to build the Event community/ies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing recruiting Plans for assigned Events
  • Market Research to understand the Market and build the prospect list
  • Recruit to meet or exceed Plan
  • Market to your Invitees
  • Account Management/Support
  • Input to Invitee marketing materials
  • Support Online community
  • On-Site Management and Support
  • Develop relationships and learn the Industry/Executives needs and interests

As a qualified candidate, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of business/business experience
  • Great people skills
  • Business development/marketing/sales experience a plus
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving, listening skills.
  • An enthusiastic and outgoing personality
  • Thorough working knowledge of Office 2000, Excel, Outlook and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus)
  • Some travel required – mostly to four-star resorts.
  • Must be nice, have integrity, be committed to excellence and be fun!
