Description
Connecting Point Marketing Group, a part of Emerald Expositions, LLC, is a seacoast-based meeting/events marketing company. The purpose of our business is to build communities by connecting buying Executives and Suppliers to build relationships and business partnerships for a variety of industries. We produce Events that are unique in that they are high touch, personalized and formatted with focused meetings based on mutual interest and an entire agenda designed to maximize business.

As an Event Support Executive, you will be responsible for supporting attending Supplier Companies and their Event attendees as it relates to their planning, logistics and onsite Event Experience. You will work closely with internal teams to piece together all aspects of the Event for the most productive, customized and white glove Supplier experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Responsible for Supplier support for Assigned Events (minimum of 3).
  • Meet or exceed Supplier Customer Satisfaction goals. Pre-Event, On-site, Post-Event Supplier Management & Support.
  • Conduit to the internal Connecting Point team on Supplier deliverables.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate data in tracking documents and CRM databases for Event deliverables.
  • Provide input to Supplier Event Materials/Marketing Collateral.
  • Create, manage customized Event schedules for each Supplier through the use of proprietary software and scheduling tools.
  • On site Contract Staff management and support.
As a qualified candidate, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
  • 2+ years of Customer Service Experience/Related Field.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Office, Excel, Outlook and Salesforce (will train on Salesforce).
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and organizational skills.
  • The ability to multi-task is a must.
  • Strong communication skills – both verbally and written.
  • An enthusiastic and outgoing personality with excellent people, telephone and computer skills.
  • Be nice, have integrity, be committed to excellence, and be fun!
  • Some travel required – (3 trips per year at minimum).
